Data controller
NadayLabs is the data controller for personal data processed through Be4Four.

Data we collect
Identity and authentication: email, Clerk user ID, username, avatar, account preferences.
Service usage: rooms, text messages, statuses, friends, reports, votes, and game requests.
Voice: Amazon Chime SDK sessions (session metadata; no systematic recording unless a dedicated feature states otherwise).
Payments: Stripe transaction IDs, amounts, products (Volts, subscriptions); we do not store full card numbers.
Push notifications: device identifiers via OneSignal when you enable notifications.
Technical logs: IP address, user agent, timestamps, error logs for security and support.
Purposes and legal bases
Contract performance: account, rooms, messaging, purchases.
Legitimate interests: security, fraud prevention, product improvement, aggregated analytics.
Legal obligation: retention of certain billing records.
Consent: marketing or non-essential cookies where required.
Processors and transfers
We use GDPR-aligned providers including Clerk, Supabase/PostgreSQL, Stripe, AWS/Chime, OneSignal, web hosting (e.g. Vercel), and Cloudflare Turnstile.
Some providers may process data outside the EU; appropriate safeguards (standard contractual clauses, adequacy decisions) apply where required.
Retention
Active account: data kept while the account exists, then limited archiving as required by law.
Messages and rooms: retention depends on product settings; deletion or anonymization on account closure, subject to technical backups.
Billing: up to 10 years under French accounting rules.
Security logs: typically up to 12 months.
Your rights
You may exercise access, rectification, erasure, objection, restriction, and portability under the GDPR.
Export and delete your account: Settings → Personal data. You may also email legal@be4four.com.
You may lodge a complaint with your supervisory authority (in France: CNIL, www.cnil.fr).
